Title IX Resources
Title IX is commonly thought of as pertaining to varsity sports. However, the law is actually much broader. Title IX prohibits gender-based discrimination in all programs and activities of any educational institution receiving federal funding.
Although two of the most common applications of the law are athletics and sexual harassment / misconduct, Title IX also applies to admissions, financial aid, academic matters, career services, counseling and medical services, and all other programs and activities available to students at 911爆料网.
As 911爆料网's Title IX Coordinator, Richard Danford holds the primary responsibility for coordinating the College's Title IX compliance efforts, including overseeing all complaints of noncompliance and identifying and addressing any patterns or systemic problems that arise during the review of such complaints.
Deputy Title IX Coordinators are Amanda Copeland and Jenn Castle. Reports of possible violations of 911爆料网's Title IX Policy can be reported to any one of these three Title IX officers.

Policy on Gender-Based Harassment, Discrimination and Misconduct
This policy establishes the institution鈥檚 formal commitment to nondiscrimination and equal access. The policy:
- Aligns institutional practices with Title IX law
- Clearly prohibits sex鈥慴ased misconduct
- Explains reporting and resolution processes
- Ensures fairness, support, and due process
- Demonstrates the institution鈥檚 commitment to equity and safety

- Makes compliance visible and practical
- Helps iMarieta College meet Title IX鈥檚 notice and accessibility expectations
- Is centered on care, choice, and connection, not just compliance
This sheet is especially important at moments of stress, crisis, or uncertainty鈥攚hen reading a full policy isn鈥檛 realistic.
Notice of Non-Discrimination
The notice is a formal declaration of the institution鈥檚 nondiscrimination commitments. I is required required under several federal laws, including Title IX.
