This post-baccalaureate program is designed for adults who have already completed a bachelor’s degree and are looking to switch careers. At the completion of the program, graduates will be credentialed to teach in any state in the U.S.

The Reading Endorsement  program prepares educators for the Ohio K-12 Reading Endorsement. The sequence of five courses provides theoretical and practical knowledge, skills, and dispositions needed to provide evidence-based reading and writing instruction and intervention. 

The program does not earn a degree, but by completing this progrm, students will complete required coursework to apply for the Ohio K-12 Reading Endorsement and be prepared to take the Ohio Assessments for Educators necessary to add the endorsement to their professional teaching license.  The graduate credits earned may be applicable toward a master's degree program.
